Michael Bay back for Transformers 4 Reboot

And it looks like Michael Bay will be back to Direct Transformers 4 reboot in 2014. I’m sure they fact that Paramount and Hasbro gave him a truck load of money and will fund his non-action movie Pain and Gain.

Press Release: FIRST UP FOR THE PROLIFIC FILMMAKER IS “PAIN AND GAIN” STARRING MARK WAHLBERG AND DWAYNE “THE ROCK” JOHNSON, FOLLOWED BY A NEW INSTALLMENT IN THE HUGELY POPULAR “TRANSFORMERS ” FRANCHISE, TO BE RELEASED ON JUNE 29TH, 2014

HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 13, 2012) – Paramount Pictures announced today that director Michael Bay has signed a two-picture deal with the studio, which will commence this spring with the filming of “Pain and Gain,” and will be followed by the next installment in the hit “Transformers” franchise.

Based on a true story, “Pain and Gain” follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida. First told in an article from the Miami New Times, “Pain and Gain,” will be directed by Bay and will star Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Expected to begin production in early spring, the movie’s producers include Bay, Donald De Line and Ian Bryce.

Following “Pain and Gain,” Bay will bring audiences a new take on the “Transformers” franchise as he begins production on the fourth installment in the hit series of movies based on the best-selling Hasbro toyline. The third, and most recent installment of the franchise, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” is the fourth highest global grossing film of all time with 1.24 billion dollars of worldwide box office success. Directed by Bay, the movie will re-unite the filmmaking team from the hit franchise, including producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto and Ian Bryce; and executive producers Steven Spielberg, Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian. Paramount Pictures will release the film on June 29th, 2014.

“Michael has been working on PAIN AND GAIN for a number of years but has patiently waited for the perfect casting to trigger a start,” said Adam Goodman, President of Paramount’s Film Group. “Clearly his patience has paid off as we couldn’t be more excited about this combo. His passion for this project is just awesome.”

Personally I loved the Transformers movies, I was 2 for 3. But I think he should have moved on and only produced it, and let the likes of Matthew Vaughn, Guillermo Del Toro or even J.J Abrams take a whack at it. That being said I’m sure it’s going to be an explosion of awesome badassness and I would expect nothing less from Michael Bay.

Will Smith back in black..and he makes it look good

Well our favorite big movie star (Will Smith) is back again for the third time as Agent J in this third installment of the “Men in Black” saga, I’m not really to happy about the overly used time travel story arch which I’m sure will have J traveling back in time to save K and, virtually, the whole world. Still, it’s nice to see Jones and Smith back in black, replete with shades, crazy guns and memory-erasing devices.

If you want a good taste of what the movie is about, check out the trailer…

The third film in the Men in Black franchise returns in 3D and reunites Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

“Men in Black 3″ also stars Bill Hader, Alice Eve, Emma Thompson and Jemaine Clement. It’s due in theaters in 3D on May 25.

Trailer: The Dark Knight Rises

No words can describe the feeling I get when watching this trailer over and over again. If I could convey the emotion with no words I would. Oh well, I guess the next best thing is to just show you the trailer huh.

Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent’s crimes.

The new journey begins when young adventurer Sean (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist–a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. Unable to stop him from going, Sean’s new stepfather (Dwayne Johnson) joins the quest. Together with a helicopter pilot (Luis Guzman) and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter (Vanessa Hudgens), they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.

Trailer: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1

Bella and Edward, plus those they love, must deal with the chain of consequences brought on by a marriage, honeymoon, and the tumultuous birth of a child… which brings an unforeseen and shocking development for Jacob Black.

I’m not going to lie this trailer looks crazy cool. You all know my guilty genre is vampires, so the first Twilight was all bad to me and I did really enjoy it. Then the second one came out New Moon and I really gave up on the series because it was just ridiculously awful. Now! after seeing this trailer I’m pretty juiced about Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 to come out on November 18, 2011. What do you think?

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance trailer

I don’t think they could have picked a better team to revive this dead comic book sequel. I, like most hated the first one, and didn’t think they should do a sequel because the movie just didn’t work on all levels except for Nic Cage.

Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures’ and Hyde Park Entertainment’s Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny – still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Underworld: Awakening trailer finally!!

Kate Beckinsale is back as a badass latex clad vampire! nuff said!

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

I wonder if Selene can still go out in the sunlight, I hope they don’t forget that little detail from the end of the 2nd movie.

Trailer: A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

The new Harold & Kumar comedy picks up six years after the duo’s last adventure. After years of growing apart, Harold Lee (John Cho) and Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents—and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree— going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.

Catwoman “Anne Hathaway” Sexy on Batbike

I never thought I’d said this, but I’m seeing too many damn set photos of DKR! I won’t and can’t look away but come on…the fight between Bane and Batman is iconic so seeing them fight in set photos is very underwelmingm, which is why I didn’t post those. I’m sorry, normally I’m not in the bandwagon that hates everything I love like most fanboy internets thugs….I just came from Improv Comedy Club and had T many Martinis so I’m speaking my mind and Geekin Off so deal with it. I’ve been a Anne Hathway fan for a year now so when Nolan cast her as Catwomen I had no issues. She is very talented and will probably blow Michelle Pfeiffer portrayal out of the water (which is in ever geeks spank bank). Here are Hathaways first pig as Catwomen and she on Bmans bike!!
