Sterling’s Best TV Shows of 2012

by Sterling B

I watch a lot of television thanks to TV-links I can watch it on my time and commercial free. I thought it would be great to let you know whats worth your time.

Alcatraz. It’s a pretty intriguing show about the prison island prisoners coming back to modern day to commit crimes I went to prison for in the 1960s.

Key & Peele. I feel there has been a hugh gap in the sketch comedy genre on TV for couple years now, this show for sure picks up some slack, I’m on the 3rd episode of the show and it F-ing funny…check it out.

Unsupervised. It’s is an animated, half-hour comedy about two eternally optimistic best friends “Gary” and “Joel”, who are navigating the harsh landscape of adolescence and trying to do what’s right despite having no parental guidance whatsoever. It’s a fun in between Family Guy and Simpsons animated show that will keep you entertained.

Lost Girl. In all honestly it’s not a new show its an Canadian show and currently closing season 2. It is a new show for the US and its great. Even though I am in love with Ksenia Solo the actress that plays Kenzi the show has an awesome cast. Check it out

Portlandia. ”Portlandia” features Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein and guest stars satirizing such alternative-culture types as the owners of a feminist book store, a bike messenger, a punk-rock couple, and an arty duo obsessed with putting little cut-outs of birds on anything they lay their hands on. Each half-hour episode will consist of interwoven short films, with some characters recurring from week-to-week. One word….Funny!

House of Lies. This for me is a Californication back up. It’s just sex, assholes, and money…and very entertaining. Charming, fast talking Marty Kaan and his crack team of MBA-toting management consultants are playing America’s 1 percent for everything they’ve got. They put the con in consulting as they charm smug, unsuspecting corporate fat cats into closing huge deals, and spending a fortune for their services.
